We’re almost there
Welcome to the first edition of the We Inspire blog!
There has been quite a whirlwind of excitement surrounding our Grant initiative since we introduced the idea in October. We’ve met so many wonderful people and felt first hand the positive impact that a great idea can have on a company, a community and even a country. We have seen our story told in local papers, national papers and websites and it seems that everywhere we go, someone stops us to say they love the work we are doing for the non-profit world. All of this good energy has built the anticipation and has us eager for our deadline to arrive so we could begin this yearlong journey with one inspired organization.
This week, as expected, we have seen a flurry of last minute emails, questions and packet deliveries. The excitement is palpable. In preparation for the big day, the We Inspire team met on Saturday to discuss final plans for the application review. We have everything in place and will begin reviewing tomorrow.
We also discussed the educational aspect of this undertaking and realized the best way to benefit all who are interested is to document the entire process. Everything from reviews, to meetings, to creative development. The before and after case studies, in real time. Each one of us will be contributing to the blog throughout the year, either through words or videos. But to make this a true collaboration, we are also inviting the winner to post entries along the way. Expect special insight from them.
